Description
Aloe juvenna is a small clump-forming succulent, It is a miniature aloe with erect or procumbent multi-branching stems.
Basally branching, stem erect up to 12 inches (30 cm) tall. Branching from the base. Bright green (reddish to brown in full sun), toothy-margined leaves, flecked with cream-white prominent spots. The inflorescence is unbranched spike, up to 10 inches (25 cm) tall with bright coral-pink to orange-red flowers with yellow-green mouth. Aloe are not particularly fast-growing and will only rarely need repotting.
Environment
Needs light shade to full sun, but will redden with more light exposure. Regular water in summer, keep dry in winter, needs good drainage It grows much better outdoors in spring and summer, it is also perfect for the bright windowsill. Avoid any frost.
Landscape Uses
It is a plant for container growing. It always looks good and stays small. It look fine in a cold outdoor in a rockery. This species grows in grasslands, on plains and walls.
