Description

Aloe 'Walmsley's Blue' has small blue-green-(in shade) to bronze-green-(full sun) stem growth. Stems are 6 to 12" tall, narrow, small rubber like teeth along leaf edges. Blooms appear on 1' ft. tall bracts with small tubular but numerous red-orange flowers. Blooming starts in late winter to spring and lasts several months.

Environment

Full sun to filtered shade. Average Water Needs; Water regularly; do not over water.

Aloe is a very forgiving plant, and a well-grown plant can be quite beautiful. As with all succulents, it s essential that Aloe is never allowed to sit in stagnant water, and the plant should be carefully monitored to watch for signs of over watering. Water generously in the summer and nearly cease watering in the winter. Do not let water stand in the rosettes. Prefers warmer temperatures

Landscape Uses

It is an excellent plant for container growing. It look fine in a cold greenhouse, on plains and walls and frame or outdoor in a rockery.
